2016 Thorndike Memorial

Entry Fee Breakdown:
All tournament entries include a donation to the tournament charity.

Per PDGA guidelines, this donation is calculated based on the following formula: $2 PDGA player fee + $2 player match + 25% of net entry fee.

Pro Open = $35 entry fee = $5 greens fee, $10 charity donation, $20 to payout
Pro Women/Masters/Grandmasters = $25 entry fee = $5 greens fee, $8 charity donation, $12 to payout
All amateur divisions = $20 entry fee = $5 greens fee, $7 charity donation, $8 to player pack

Player Packs:
At minimum, all amateurs will receive:

  • One disc from Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64, or Westside Discs (Prime/Retro/Origio plastic)
  • One mini DD Judge
  • All Day Greens Fee pass for tournament day
  • more may be added

Sponsorship:
Unless otherwise instructed by the sponsor, all sponsor-donated money will be split 60/40 between the charity and the event.  The event portion will help defray event costs as well as augment the Pro Open and Pro Women’s purse.

Raffle:
Raffle tickets will be available for sale in the morning (1 for $2, 5 for $5, 15 for $10, 30 for $20, 50 for $30), with the prize drawings done right before the start of round 2.  Among the raffle prizes so far:

  • 2 Latitude 64 ProBags with backpack straps
  • 1 Dynamic Discs Soldier Cooler bag
  • 3 Dragan Field multi-passes

CTPs:
A number of Closest to the Pin prizes will be in play during the rounds.  There will also be a longest putt contest on hole 18.
